This is a good companion to my idea of the capacities of power. I listened to this speech by Jack Donovan the other day after a recommendation from artofmanliness.com. Though Jack & I may have some slight disagreements on a few things, I really enjoyed it. I’ve decided to pick up his book The Way of Men, in fact.
The speech is ~20 minutes long, though well worth the listen.
It would be wrong of me to not mention that Matt at The Everyday Marksmen also kind of inspired me to make this post. He’s mentioned Mr. Donovan a time or two over there as well.

Enjoy the book. Like you, I don’t agree with everything Jack has to say or his point of view. But I appreciate that he is able to articulate it in such a genuine fashion that it causes you to stop and think.
